Brett- RIP and Thank you for showing Sara what it is to love and be loved.
Ray, Pat, and Joel, My Deepset sympathy goes out to you and your family. You are such wonderful people and don't deserve to have such a tragedy hit you so suddenly. Brett was such a great guy and just from the tribute he had you know he was loved. He did such wonderful things for so many people including those kids.

Raymond, Pat and Joel,
There aren't enough words in the english language to descibe what you must be going through, nor enough to describle What those of us that only knew Brett from a far are experiencing.
I only had the pleasure of knowing Brett for the past couple of years, and please know it was a true PLEASURE.
I only knew Brett through playing softball on Sunday's with him. When I joined the team, Brett was one of the first to make me feel at home. I felt like I played wiht him for 20 years. He always tried to lift up the team when we were down, and tried even harder to boost us up when we did something right.
The more I heard about Brett on Monday night, I more I wished that I knew him like you did.
Keep his memories close, and know he truly touched the hearts of all young and old, and made his newest friends (like me) feel like his oldest and dearest friends.
May God and your memories try to provide comfort in this time.
I only knew him from 2 years, but I am glad to have had the pleasure.

Dearest Sara, Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss...our thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time. There are no words that could ever express the sorrow we feel for you and for Brett's family. Memories are beautiful and they are what will get you through. Hold them close to your heart and never let them go. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
If there is ANYTHING you need, we are right around the corner and just a phone call away...
We Love You,

Family and Freinds of Brett my deapest sympathy goes out to you. Brett will be missed by everyone. Hold on to the memories and good things we all know he gave to us. In my own personal experience, his competitivness and drive made everyone around him a better person, and I thank him for that. Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer.

Brett will be missed by so many people. He was a great guy who had many clients that became friends. I was lucky enough to be one of those friends. Through me, Brett became friends with my family. Ironically, we shared the same last name. We will all miss him. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.

Words cannot express our deepest sympathy to the Townley family and all of his nearest & dearest. Brett has taken care of our financials since 2002 and we enjoyed chatting with him when he came for his yearly visit. Our two sons always had to get in on the conversation and loved to talk hockey and lacrosse with him. He will be greatly missed to say the least. In this time of loss, many thoughts are with you Brett & your family. God bless you.

My husband bill was a client of Brett's in roch. Brett would call when he came and he stopped by or asked Bill to meet him for lunch. We alway's enjoyed teasing him about getting married and know how much in love he was even though we only knew him since 2007 we fell in love with him!He is the same age as my son who lives in LA who i miss so much so i kind of projected my motherly feelings on to Brett!!We will miss him very much,he is such a beautiful soul.May he find peace with the angel's and we keep you his loved ones in our prayers. My beautiful nephew left the earth in the same way as Brett so we know the pain that is left behind,i also know that those that left us are now so at peace and free of all the pain that was hidden inside of them,a pain that we could not take from them no matter how hard we all tried.God Bless you all and know that Brett is free and happy and will always live on in your hearts.love and peace,Jude and Bill.e-mail me if you need to talk at any time please.judycheng@frontiernet.net

Sara,
I am so sorry for your loss. I wished there were magic words that could help the pain you're feeling or heal your heart. So far I haven't found them.
You were so strong on Monday, I just don't know how you did it. You must be one incredible lady.
It's sad to say that I didn't know Brett for very long, but the stories that were shared on Monday, shows what a loss this really is.
The more I heard the more I wished that I had known him better.
Please take comfort in the memories that you have, in the times that you shared with him.
You will have that FOREVER, no one can ever take those away.
Although you will never forget, in time you will learn to cope with Brett's passing.
I wish you only the best and wish that we could have met under very different circumstances.
Please know that Brett was loved by all, ESPECIALLY you and that you will forever be in our hearts and our prayers.

I only just got to know Brett for the past 2 softball seasons...obviously making me wish I had known him for more. He is an amazing person. Always happy, and always was there to help me remember how to play the game...lol.. There are obviously no words to help ease any pain so I want to make sure I keep this funny, and acknowledging what a great guy Brett is...and I emphasize IS, because he will always be with us. Whether its on the field or off Brett is someone that is always remembered. When he pulled his leg muscle (very painful) all I said was to put mud on it, and instead of yelling at me he laughed..lol. Instead of yelling at how bad our team may be he would always laugh it off and just throw ideas out there to help us get better...and when I say us I mean me...lol. I truly hope your family once again finds happiness despite tragedy, and comes to his teams game to share a laugh. And when you see what I wear you will truly laugh!!

Where to begin? All of our love goes to all who knew Brett. He is in God's loving care, now and will be an angel to comfort us through our grief.
Brett had a smile that stretched for miles and a twinkle in his eyes that lit up the world around him. To have known Brett, is to have touched the face of God. Our memories of growing up will forever be locked up in our hearts and shared for all the ages to come.
One of our fondest memories revolve around hunting camp: playing cards and telling tall tales until the early morning hours. As we reflect, we wish those days had never come to an end. We will leave a chair open at the euker table this fall, and remember all of the joy you have brought to us.
We love you, Brett. We will miss you.

To Bretts family I offer my deepest sympathies as only recently meeting you I can feel your warmth. You will be in my prayers.
"A reassuring presence, a light when times are dark, a hand reaching out, is what friendship is about."
Sara, you have been my best friend for twenty years now and I cannot tell you how it tears me apart to see you with this pain and confusion. You and your family are my family and you are my strongest friend. I wish I could make everything better like you always have for me. I love you with everything in me and will be there everyday to assist you in your grieving and keeping the memories of Brett alive. And although he is gone the love between the two of you will never go away.Your friends and family love you, and will help in whatever way necessary, no matter how long it takes.
Brett although I will never understand why, I believe that you are at peace. It is obvious how loved you were and I wish you could see that. We will miss you. And we promise always to root for North Carolina, no matter what the circumstances :( :)

Dear Aunt Pat and family,
We're so very sorry for your loss. Sometimes these things are so unexpected that there's nothing that can be said but we're sorry. We're thinking of you all and you will get through this extremely tough time. Friends and family mean so much, so when one passes we are all at a loss. We're here for you if you need anything - as you all were for Kylee and me. Love you lots!
