 Bernadine M. Mathewson, 95, of Liverpool, passed away at Loretto on Monday.
She worked in the Advertising Department of the Syracuse newspapers for 17 years retiring in 1973. She was predeceased by her husband, Howard J. Mathewson on July 17, 2004 and a son, Lynn H. Mathewson on October 9, 2009.
Surviving are a daughter, Christine (William) Mather of Naples, Fl. a son Carl J. (Sandra) Mathewson of Brewerton, 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Wednesday March 3, 2010 at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 Rt. 31, Baldwinsville with burial to follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 12 noon to 1 pm before the service. Contributions in Bernadine’s memory may be made to Loretto, 700 E. Brighton Ave., Syracuse, NY 13205.
