Dear Bill, Kathy, Nancy, Susan and Jim:
Your Dad was a great man with a terrific sense of humor. Speaking on behalf of all of the Kearney kids, growing up across the street on Jonquil Lane from the Pearse family was an honor. We are so sorry for your loss.

Dear Bill, Kathy, Nancy, Susan and Jim:
Your father was a great man and I always enjoyed speaking with him. He was a true patriot. He was one of the key influences in my decision to attend Annapolis and serve as a Navy Officer. I feel privileged to have known him. May God comfort you in this time of sorrow.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Dr. Pearse influenced the lives of many. He played a formative roll in mine. He taught me that friendship had no bounds and that it was very right for a professor to be a friend to his students.

To Dr. Pearse's family:
I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Pearse's passing. I took several classes from him in the 1980's. He was my favorite professor at LeMoyne. While we shared many laughs, I learned a great deal from your father. He was a wonderful man and very well respected by his students.
