Esther C. Rockdashil, 91, of Baldwinsville, NY passed away on Wednesday at Syracuse Home Association.
She was born in Berthoud, CO and moved to Syracuse in the mid-1940’s. She was a member of The Grange and Traveler’s Club in Baldwinsville. Esther was also a member of Baldwinsville First United Methodist Church where she was a member of the OWLS Group, Sarah Circle and SAMASANS. She is predeceased by four brothers.
Esther is survived by a son, John E. (Anne B.) Rockdashil of Liverpool; a daughter, Cathy C. Rockdashil of San Diego, CA; a brother, Peter (Elaine) Krieger of Longmont, CO; two grandchildren, Renee R. Kambar of Rochester and Scott J. Rockdashil of Liverpool; a great-grandson, Nathan C. Kambar and several nieces & nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday, July 30, 2010 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 Route 31, Baldwinsville.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 10:00am in Baldwinsville First United Methodist Church, 17 West Genesee St., Baldwinsville, NY with burial to follow in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Esther was a wonderful lady!! I grew up a few houses down from her and always enjoyed going down to visit with her. She will be missed.
