Obituary

Alice (Kozikowski) Harvey passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. She and her husband were currently residing in Liverpool, NY.

Born in Syracuse, New York, Alice earned her nursing degree at Crouse-Irving Hospital. She later met the love of her life, John Harvey, her partner in adventure for 65 years. Together they settled in Geneva, New York, which they proudly called home for 54 years, and where they built their dream home on the shores of Seneca Lake.

A dedicated and generous volunteer, Alice gave her time and talents to Geneva General Hospital and its Auxiliary, St. Stephen's Church and School, and the Geneva Historical Society. She cherished her large and varied circle of friends and enjoyed tennis, book groups, and travel, which often included cheering on John's alma mater Notre Dame.

Alice found her greatest joy in sharing; hosting unforgettable gourmet dinners, celebrating life's milestones, and gifting friends and strangers alike with flowers from her extraordinary zinnia filled garden. She had a creative eye, surrounding herself with paintings, pottery, and crafts, curated through a lifetime of collecting. She created the perfect alfresco gatherings, complete with seasonal flowers, thoughtful décor, and a table always set to welcome family and friends. This spirit lives on in all who were fortunate enough to be part of her life.

Alice, known to her grandchildren and nieces as Nonnie and Allie, spent her most cherished moments with her family at her home on Seneca Lake, vacationing on Cape Cod, and enjoying sunny Florida. Time spent with Nonnie was always fun, playful, and filled with excitement. She taught them to find the joy in life, love fiercely and treasure every day.

She is predeceased by her brother, John Kozikowski and her beloved niece, Lisa Ciotti and nephew, Mark Harvey.

She is survived by her beloved husband, John Harvey; her children, Linda (Edward) Epps, David Harvey and Chris (Harriett) Harvey, her grandchildren; Siena (Chris) Oujo, Laurel Epps (Pierce Comeaux) and Zachary Harvey, her great-granddaughter, Colette Oujo, her sister, Karen (John) Ciotti and many cherished nieces and nephews.

Alice will be remembered for her grace, generosity, and the beauty she created wherever she went. A celebration of Alice's life will be held at a future date.
