With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Andrea Sands, "Our Beloved Aya", who left the world far too soon. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister and friend whose love and kindness touched everyone she met.

Above all Andrea was a loving, selfless mother to her four beautiful children; Niahtazia, Aria, Mon'ey, and George. Her greatest joy in life was being their mom, cherishing every moment spent with them. Whether taking them to the library, celebrating their birthdays with joyful gatherings, or delighting in the creativity of Halloween costumes. She created a world filled with wonder, love and cherished memories. Her nurturing spirit and warm smile ensured that her children were loved and celebrated. Her children were the center of her world, and her love for them will forever be a guiding light in their lives.

She is now reunited with her grandmothers, Merle Sands, and Miguelina Martinez whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by her children; Niahtazia, Aria, Mon'ey, George, her parents, Narciso and Michelle, the father of her children, George M. Bachus, her siblings; Wilma, Narciso, Luis, Julio, Marisa, and Ella, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends, Valerie and Serina.

A celebration of Andrea's life will be held at Faith by Love Family Worship Church 1828 South Ave Syracuse, NY 13207 on Wednesday, April 2, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 10:00 am in Faith by Love Family Worship Church with burial to follow in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.

Her love was boundless, her heart was pure and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
