Anne Marie (Deely) Wood, aged 83, of Liverpool, NY, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital on Saturday, surrounded by her loving family. Anne Marie was born on September 4, 1942, in Tarrytown, NY, to the late Michael and Anna (Byelick) Deely. She graduated from Sleepy Hollow High School, Onondaga Community College, Syracuse University, as well as Syracuse University Law School where she earned her doctorate.

In addition to being a military wife for 21 years until her husband's retirement, Anne Marie was a partner at Wyland, Wood & Richmond PC and of Council for Petrone & Petrone PC. She also was both an English as a second language and math teacher.

During her career, Anne Marie was an active member of the U.S. Supreme Court Bar and the New York State Bar, as well as the NYS Teachers' Association.  She also worked for the Bank of New York in Tarrytown, NY and the Rome Savings Bank, Rome, NY.   She had a passion for Golden Retrievers as a member of clubs, an obedience trainer and show judge.

In addition to her parents, Anne Marie was predeceased by her sister, Maureen Annicharico.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband of 62 years, Henry Linson Wood; son, Christopher (Christine); 2 grandchildren, Connor and Logan; sister, Linda (Frank) Garger of Reading, CT, and many nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Services will be private.
