Arlene B. Cyr, 93, of Clay, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022.  She was born in Syracuse, to the late Nicholas and Frances (York) Britting and had resided in the area her entire life.  Arlene retired after many years with New York Telephone Company.  She enjoyed camping, crafts and was an animal lover.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, in 1986; brother, Edward Britting, and her precious dog, Molly.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Colleen Corkran, of Clay; granddaughter, Cara Pinoargotte, of Clay; grandson, Brett (Kerrie) Corkran, of Marshfield, MA; three great-grandchildren, Gabriella and Elianna Pinoargotte, and newly arrived Griffin Corkran; sisters-in-law, Jean Graf, of FL, and Louise Britting, of West Monroe, as well as several nieces, nephews and longtime friends.

All services will be private.  Burial will be next to her husband in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.

Memorial contributions in Arlene's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
