Arthur Edward Payette, 46, of Liverpool, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, July 12, 2021. Arthur was born in Syracuse and is the son of George and Regina (Bowen) Payette.

Art was employed by Wegmans at their James Street Syracuse store. Art was an avid sports fan especially if that sport had a franchise in Pittsburgh. He was a member of The Orchard, a worship community located at 5863 E. Circle Drive Suite 20 Cicero, NY 13039.  Art knew Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.  He had a deep faith, commitment and love for Him.  Over the years he served within the church in a variety of ways including as a Youth Leader, Youth Pastor, Greeter and by preparing the Communion elements.  Art was known for his infectious laugh and silly sense of humor.  He touched many lives with his gifts of kindness and encouragement to all those with whom he came in contact.  He was a loving husband and best friend.

He is predeceased by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving and devoted wife of 12 years Alexis (Jeffress) Payette, his devoted dog Ma$e, two sisters, Laura (Peter) Catalano of Virginia, Christine (Kristopher) Redinger of Texas and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be from 4-6 pm Friday, July 23 at Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY.  A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm immediately following the calling hours.
