Barbara W. "Grandma" Brown, 95 of Liverpool, passed away Monday, September 29, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Grandma Brown was born August 20, 1930 in Binghamton, NY and has lived in Liverpool for over 73 years. She retired from New York Telephone/Verizon where she worked as a Business Representative for 30 years then worked for WCNY and for the Village of Liverpool where she was a Crossing Guard for over 24 years.  Grandma Brown loved the New York Yankees and the Kansas City Chiefs, annual weekend trips to Old Forge, and Church activities.  Most of all Grandma Brown enjoyed spending time with her loving family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law and son-in-law.

She was predeceased by her husband, William J. Brown.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children; James (Lynn) Mix, David (Joan) Mix, Robin Finniss and Jeffrey (Sara) Mix, grandchildren; Trevor (Crystal) Mix, Ashleigh (James) Schwartz, Sarah Mix (Nash Amis), Mark Holmes (Maria), Michelle Mix, Jennifer (Mick) Taylor, Joshua Finniss, Cory Finniss, Ryan Finniss (Stacy), Tracy Holmes, and Jason (Kiersten) Holmes, great-grandchildren; Gavin, Ella, Logan, Jack, Noah, Damien, Wyatt, Krysta, Sheamus, Emma, Jackson, Logan, Aiden, Marcus, Danny, Karen (Travis), Corey (Angela), Aeowyn, Teigan and Garrett,  great-great-grandchildren; Julianna, Novaleigha, IvyAnne, Briella, Logan, Kaylee, Natalie, and Seth, nieces, Cyndie Thomson and Charlene Besemer, nephew, Ken (Nancy) Oliver and her beloved cat, Peanut.

A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Northside Church, 7965 Oswego Road, Liverpool, NY 13090.
