Barbara L. Ineich, 88, of Liverpool, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026. Barbara was a lifelong resident of the Syracuse area. She was the daughter of William and Dorthea Mick. Barbara was a graduate of Eastwood High School Class of ‘55 where she was a member of Delta Pi Alpha. She then in 1959, received her Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University. There she was a member of Alpha XI Delta sorority and in her senior years was elected to Pi Lamda Theta, education honorary. Barbara’s career in the field of education spanned many years both, public and private schools.

She was a lifetime member of the James Street United Methodist Church, and was a Sunday School teacher and Bible School teacher for several years. Throughout the years she was a member of the Eastwood Coffee Club, which she enjoyed greatly and, also traveling and sports.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband Jim, her children, Mary (Peter) Marsh of Cicero, Jim (Kelly) Ineich of N. Carolina, caregivers Sarah and Doddie, three grandchildren, Patrick Marsh, Aaron Marsh, and Annaliese Ineich. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Stacy (Darin) Talley, Jay (Shawn) Mick, and Stephen (Joanne) Mick, and cousins, Sharon and Denise Oakes.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyer Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Barbara will be interred at White Chapel Memory Garden in Dewitt at a later date.
