Barbara Ann Moon, 80, formerly of Syracuse, NY and currently residing in Holyoke, MA for the past three years, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at home. She was born in Syracuse, NY, daughter of the late Ernestl and Marguerite Jaquin. Barbara worked as an Administrative Assistant for Syracuse University, retiring after 29 years of employment. Barbara loved boating, traveling and would never miss a SU Football tailgate party. She is predeceased by both of her husbands, Robert L. Bizzell of 15 years and William A. Moon of 37 years.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Tre Savoie of Holyoke, MA and Carrie Weller of Savannah, GA, stepson, Billy Moon of Lorton, VA, three stepdaughters, Judy Moon of Fort Myers, FL, Jeanette Lashoff of Mancos, CO and Marcia Moon of North Fort Myers, FL, nine grandchildren, Phillip Kensington, Darwin Weller, Dillon Weller, Alex Moon, Christopher Moon, Eric Moon, Ryan Lashoff, Aria Grisanti, Zachary Grisanti, a great-granddaughter, Peyton Kensington, three sisters, Muriel DeRoberts, Suzanne Kondra DeFuria and Mary (Joe) Burnash, several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc, 300 Second Street, Liverpool with funeral service to follow at 3:00 pm.
