Barbara A. Natoli (Faccioli) of Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully at the age of 74. Born in Nyack, NY on April 21, 1951, she was the daughter of George A. Faccioli and Emily (Mence) Faccioli.
Barbara attended St. Ann's School and graduated from Nyack High School in the Class of 1969. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from St. Thomas Aquinas College. In 1974, Barbara and her husband Richard Natoli, moved to Syracuse, where they raised their two daughters, Emily and Katharine.
Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. She worked as a substitute teaching assistant in the Liverpool School District and as a dental assistant. She also volunteered delivering meals for North Area Meals on Wheels.
Barbara's strong Catholic faith was at the heart of everything she did. She was an active member of the Pope John XXIII congregation for over 40 years, served as a eucharistic minister and was involved in many church committees. She took great joy in being a grandmother and pride in creating a festive home, especially during the holidays. Barbara was a talented baker and homemaker, and was known for her kindness, warmth, and love for her family and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents and brother and is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Richard; her daughters, Emily (Kevin) Burns and Katharine (Menni) Geronikos and her cherished grandchildren, Henry and Graham Burns. She also leaves behind her adored grand dogs, Winnie and Sadie.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Pope John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 8290 Soule Road, Liverpool, NY 13090. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 10:00 am at church. The Rite of Committal and Entombment will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery Mausoleum.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to dear friend and neighbor Maureen Woods for her compassionate care and support during Barbara's final moments.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's memory to Hospice of Central New York and of the Finger Lakes.
