Barbara "Babs" Marie Wiggins, 88, of Liverpool, NY passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Iroquois Nursing Home. She was born in Clinton, PA to Richard and Gwendolyn McCloskey. Barb obtained her Master's degree in Education from St. Lawrence University. She retired as a school teacher and tutor for Sylvan Learning Center. Barbara had an artistic flair, enjoyed spending time in her garden and creating stain glass. She was devoted to her church and her family. In her last days at Brookdale, she loved listening to Craig play the piano. Barb was an active member of United Church of Christ in Bayberry. She is predeceased by her son, Richard Wiggins, two daughters, Debbie Schroeder, Lynne Wiggins, her sister, Connie McCloskey and brother, Dr. Keith McCloskey.

Surviving are her daughter, Karen Scott of Phoenix, NY, daughter-in-law, Jeneen Wiggins of Conklin, NY,  9 grandchildren; Rachel, Ryan, Rebecca, Jessica, Jodi, Michael, Brett, Jason and Carla, 12 great-grandchildren; John, Madison, Jackson, Lincoln, McKinley, Brayden, Logan, Hayes, Preston, Brooklyn, Ryleigh and Morgan.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 2:00 pm in United Church of Christ, 215 Blackberry Road, Liverpool, NY 13090.
