Barton W. Salmon, 85, of Liverpool, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Crouse Hospital.  A native of Lowville, NY, he lived in Glenfield, NY before relocating to Liverpool in 1968. For many years he worked as an Insurance Investigator for Equifax and Mass Casualty Insurance Companies.  He then started his own newspaper distributorship for the Syracuse Post-Standard.  He retired in 1993.

He is predeceased by his son, Barton, who passed away in 2000, and his sister, Diane Hunt.

Surviving to cherish Barton's memory is his wife of 64 years, Joanne Ward Salmon of Liverpool, NY; two sons; Bradley Salmon of Palermo, NY and Brent Salmon of Liverpool, NY and three grandchildren; Claire, Tyler, and Zachary Salmon.

There will be no services.  Burial will be in the Old Glendale Cemetery at a later date.
