Bernadette (Caroccio) Capeling, 92, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 18, 2024.  She was born in Oswego, NY in 1932 to Samuel and Catherine Caroccio.  Bernadette worked for the Liverpool Pharmacy, K-Mart and retired from American Granby.  She was an active member of St. Joseph's the Worker and Immaculate Heart of Mary Churches.  She was a member of the Pairs and Squares Dance Club. Bernadette is predeceased by her husband of 71 years, Clinton who passed away in 2021, her twin brothers, Charles and Joseph Caroccio and sisters, Marian Pullen and Natalie Alton.

She leaves behind her loving family, David (Gail), Daniel (Mary), daughter, Catherine, grandchildren; Jennifer, David, Heather, Meghan, Michelle, Michael and Mckayla and great-granddaughters, Raizel and Alaina.

A calling hour will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc. 300 Second St. Liverpool, NY 13088.  Following the calling hour a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am in the Catholic Family of Epiphany Church, 1001Tulip Street, Liverpool, NY 13088.  The Rite of Committal and entombment will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery Mausoleum.
