Betty Jane (Chittenden) Adams, 87, of Cicero, NY passed away unexpectedly on Monday.  Betty was the daughter of the late Earl and Etta (Wing) Chittenden. Betty enjoyed a long career in hospitality as the head waitress at Wysocki's Lake Park Manor and the head cook for Tristate Auto Auction. Betty's true focus in life was her family; being a caretaker both at work and home. Her happy nature made her loved by all. She was an honest and giving soul who insisted on being called "Nana" by her family and friends. Betty enjoyed traveling with her family, gardening, and camping where she always wondered what was on the "menu".

Surviving to cherish her memory is her son, Mark (Gina) Adams; her daughter, Judy (Dennis) Smith; two adored grandchildren, Jessica (Alex) Klymkow and Dr. Julia (Vincent) Brigandi; her sister, Geraldine St. Clair and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31 Baldwinsville, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 9:30 am in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, 927 Park Street, Syracuse, NY 13204.
