Betty J. Young, 92, of Liverpool, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Menorah Park.  Betty was born in Antwerp, NY, she grew up in Watertown, NY and moved to Liverpool where she has lived for the past 62 years.  She was a graduate of Watertown High School. After 17 years of service, Betty retired in 1989 from Fleet Bank (Formerly Syracuse Saving Bank) where she worked as Branch manager and was a Trustee. She loved NFL football, the New York Yankees, SU Sports, horse racing, being outdoors, gardening, and most of all spending time with her loving family and friends.

She is predeceased by her husband, Wallace E. Young, Sr., her parents, Elmer and Vera Best, a sister, Phyllis Phillips and her brother, Garnet Best.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children; Wallace E. (Robin) Young, Jr., Mark (Gigi) Young, Cathleen Young, her sisters, Helen Harrison and Jackie Coleman, grandchildren; Abbey (Jason), Jamie (Melody), Ashley (Evan) Lindsay (Bryan), great-grandchildren; Alani, Brooks, Carlye, Oziah, and Sophia and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be private.
