Beverly "Joan" Pridmore, 82, of Baldwinsville, NY passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.  Joan was born in Croydon, Ontario, Canada and grew up around Napanee. After high school, she moved to Brockville to pursue a nursing career where she also met her husband, David. Joan moved with her husband and daughter to the U.S. in 1966 and found work as a RN in the hospital and later as a unit manager at Crouse Irving. She retired as an LPN instructor at OCM BOCES but continued her nursing part-time as an on-call administrator at Francis House well into her late 70s.

Through the years Joan opened her heart and home especially her kitchen, by cooking, baking and hosting numerous church and family events. When she wasn't hosting or baking, she enjoyed knitting, dining with friends, and attending her grandchildrens' many events.

She is predeceased by her husband, David Robert and an infant son, Jeffrey Justin.

Joan was a dedicated and loving mother and wife. Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Angela (Brent) McKee, sons; Stephen (Jennifer Stanger), Jason (Jenni) and Jonathan (Wendy), 10 grandchildren, brother, Roger Hart, sister, Lorraine Kouwenberg, and nephew and nieces.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 pm at the King of Kings Lutheran Church, 8278 Oswego Road, Liverpool, NY 13090.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joan's memory may be made to Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave., Syracuse NY 13208 or King of Kings Lutheran Church, Liverpool, NY.
