Dr. Bhalchandra Mukundrai Nanavati, 82, of Baldwinsville, NY passed away Tuesday, July, 25, 2023 surrounded by his family.  Bhalchandra was born in Junagadh, India and moved to the United States in 1979.  He was a resident of Rochester, NY where he worked for the State of New York as a Nurses Aide in Psychiatry and Social Work before moving to Baldwinsville.

Bhalchandra is survived by his wife, Nirupama Joshipura Nanavati of 52 years; a son, Kaushal (Divija) Nanavati of Baldwinsville, NY; a brother, Dinesh Nanavati of Rochester, NY; two sisters, Prakishini (Upendra) Kharod of San Antonio, TX and Jaygita Mehta of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; a sister-in-law, Devershini Nanavati of Kutiyana, India; a grandson, Shivam Nanavati of Baldwinsville, NY and a large and loving extended family.

Services will be Friday, July 28, 2023 from 11:00am – 1:00pm at Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
