Carla S. Chamberlain, 68, of Schenectady, NY passed away on August 4, 2021.  She was a highly regarded Supervisor of Transfusion Services at Albany Medical Center, and worked in the Blood Bank field for 45 years.

Carla cared deeply for animals, and gave a very loving home to multiple cats over the years, leaving behind her beloved Cody and Molly…

She was predeceased by her parents, Carlyle M. and Ruth (Thomas) Chamberlain.

She is survived by her siblings: Anne F. Chamberlain of East Syracuse, NY, Dr. Thomas P. Chamberlain (Julia) of Williamsburg, VA, MaryLynne Crocker (Jon) of Victor, NY, Robert C. Chamberlain (Sharon) of E. Syracuse, NY; a niece, Emlyn C. Podesta (Brian), three nephews: Jeffrey Chamberlain (Jessica), Tyler Chamberlain (Millie) and Dallas Chamberlain; one great-nephew, and three great-nieces; as well as her close friend, Gayle Ward.
