Carmelo R. Herrera Rivera, 67, of Liverpool, passed away Monday, January 6, 2025 at Crouse Hospital.  Carmelo was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and has lived in Liverpool for several years.  He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his children; Mildred Herrera of Danbury, CT, Lizmary Herrera of Yonkers, NY, Carlos Herrera of NYC, Hector (Jimaris) Herrera of Liverpool, two brothers, Hector Herrera and Pablo (Ani) Herrera of Puerto Rico, several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc., 300 Second Street, Liverpool, NY 13088, with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 pm.
