Carol J. Martin, 75, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Friday at Crouse Hospital with her family by her side. Carol was a longtime parishioner and secretary at Pope John XXIII Church, formerly St. John's Church. She was predeceased by her husband, James W. Martin in 1998. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Jeff Martin (Lisa Hall); Michael (Shirley) Martin; Linda (Paul) Corbin; Kris (Mike) DeCandia; her brothers, Bill (Diane) Brady; Michael (Cindy) Brady; sisters, Elaine (Bugs) Moran; Mary Lou Brogan; grandchildren; Jason, Michael, Shannon, Jennifer, Jimmy, Danny, Nick, Tim; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday October 1, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Pope John XXIII Church, 8290 Soule Rd. Liverpool. Burial will be private for immediate family.
