Carol Rose Millonzi, 68, of Liverpool, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, May 16, 2026 at St. Joseph’s Health Hospital in Syracuse. She was born to John and Mary (Moscato) Millonzi and grew up in Fredonia, New York.

Carol attended State University of New York College at Fredonia and graduated from State University College at Buffalo with a BS in elementary education and special education. She later earned her MS in special education at Syracuse University.

Moving to Syracuse in 1979, she enjoyed a 22-year teaching career working with children with special needs at the E. J. Dillon Middle School in Phoenix, Long Branch Elementary School in Liverpool, and Morgan Road Elementary School in Liverpool.

She was a member of Northside Church in Liverpool, volunteering in the women’s mentoring program, the peer support ministry, and she wrote for the church newsletter.

Carol loved family and friends, inviting them into her home, and cooking for them. She enjoyed music, art, writing, and spending time with those she loved. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary.

She is survived by her sister, Cathy (John) Vullo of Harrisburg Pennsylvania, extended family, Team Carol, and many other wonderful friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Northside Church, 7965 Oswego Road, Liverpool, NY 13090. Private burial will be at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Fredonia, NY.
