Carol Irene (Glenister) Ramsey, 82, of Baldwinsville, and formerly of Oswego, NY passed away last Saturday at Loretto-Fahey assisted living in Syracuse. Born in Oswego, NY, Carol graduated from Mexico High School and continued her studies receiving her Associate's degree in the School of Nursing at Oswego County BOCES. Carol was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Oswego Hospital for over 25 years. A true caretaker, she also worked private cases for physically and mentally challenged children. Carol's passion for taking care of people continued with her family. Also known as "Grandma Carol", Carol always looked forward to spending time with family, especially her three grandchildren; Morgan, Tim and Jacob. She truly enjoyed the Sunday dinners, celebrating birthday parties and the Holidays. Christmas time was Carol's favorite. Her kind soul and warm smile would light up the room. Carol also enjoyed time at Oswego Speedway back in her day, and playing cards and Bunco with her friends. She is predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Clara (Hessel) Glenister and her daughter, Penny Marshall.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her beloved son, Timothy J. (Patricia) Marshall of Baldwinsville, NY, three adored grandchildren; Morgan E. Marshall of Tonawanda, NY, Timothy J. Marshall of Bluffton, SC, and Jacob A. Marshall of Baldwinsville, NY, her sister, Betty Lou Marano of Oswego, NY, two brothers; Carl (Sandra) Glenister of Oswego, NY and John (Sherry) Glenister of New Haven, NY, two nieces and three nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31 Baldwinsville, NY 13027 with services to follow at 5:00 pm. Burial will be private in New Haven Cemetery at a future date.
