Carol Ann (Latorre) Schardt, 76, of Liverpool, NY passed away unexpectedly on Friday. She was born in the Bronx, NY, where she was raised and educated, the youngest of six children to Biagio and Francesca (Alfonso) Latorre. In 1974, Carol Ann came to the Syracuse area living in Liverpool the majority of her life. In 1986, she was united in marriage to Roger K. Schardt. During her years of employment, her true passion was teaching cosmetology at Phillips Institute as well as styling hair. She was an amazing cook and loved spending time with her family and friends. Carol Ann enjoyed boating on the St. Lawrence River and taking trips in her Corvette with her husband. She is predeceased by her sister, Sarah Latorre and her oldest brother, a beloved figure in her life, Nunzio "Buddy" Latorre.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband of 36 years, Roger, her children; Rene, Deanna (Melvin), Francine (Ambrose), Robert (Martha), Michael (Rebecca), a proud grandmother to; Anthony (Jessica), Danielle, Brittany (Kimbley), Brandy, Anthony, Christopher, Dylan, Tyler, Adelynne, Jeffrey and Stephen, great-grandmother to; Avery, Ahrielle, Aviahn, Carson, her siblings; Dorothy Loffredo, Johanna Thibault, Joseph Latorre and dear friend, Phyllis Corrigan.

There will be no formal services as per Carol Ann's wishes. A celebration of her life will be held at a future date to be announced.
