Carole Coker McMahon, 80, of Pennellville, NY and Deland, FL slid into heaven saying, "what a great ride" on Saturday, August 24, 2024. She was born August 3, 1944 to the late Vincent and Lucille (Gorgoni) Anthony in Syracuse, NY.  She raised her five children in Brownville, NY and then Elbridge, NY where she instilled in them a love for animals. Her farms had horses, dogs and an array of goats, chickens, cows and pigs.  She loved to travel, her favorite vacation spots being Cayamant Lake, Quebec and in later years, beaches and cruising.  She was a talented beautician working most of her career at Joseph's at The Carriage House in Syracuse. She was an accomplished artist and enjoyed her drawing classes in Deland.  In her retirement years, she loved riding her horses and motorcycles and took a job at NASCAR in Daytona just to be a part of the action.

She is predeceased by her husband, James F. McMahon and her parents, Vincent and Lucille Anthony.

Surviving to cherish Carole's memory are her daughters, Dynelle Cottrill of Suffern, NY, Luanne Burlingame (Daniel Maurer) of Baldwinsville, NY, Vickie Coker of Deland, FL and Audra (Fred) Baum of Cape Coral, FL; a son, Jay Coker, of Deland, FL; sisters, Tammy (Hayes Wanamaker) Anthony of Camillus, NY and Kim (Kevin) Farrell of Camillus, NY; an aunt, Rose Anthony of Fulton, NY; eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private at Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. The Rite of Committal and Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse, NY.

Carole's family would like to acknowledge the selfless love and care that her daughters, Vickie and Dynelle provided her, allowing Carole to live in her own home for many years.
