Charles "Charlie" Lambert Hickey, 89, of Baldwinsville, NY passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Menorah Park of CNY.  He was born June 1, 1934 to Emma and Lambert Hickey in Lockport, NY and graduated from Lockport High School and Hobart College, Geneva, NY.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 – 1957 as a radar maintenance specialist. The majority of Charlie's career was spent in transportation sales covering New York State.  During his lifetime, he excelled in swimming, sailing, tennis and pistol competitions.  Charlie loved his cars, motorcycle and had a beautiful singing voice. He was predeceased by his parents, Emma and Lambert Hickey and a step-father, Beach Hicks.

Charlie was blessed to be survived by his wife of 58 Years, Elsa Stapelfeldt Hickey; daughters, Susan Allington of North Syracuse, NY and Linda (Stephen) Mather of Albany, NY; grandchildren, Molly (Christopher) Rose, Julianna, Emma and Benjamin Mather and many extended family members.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 2:30pm to 4:00pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY with a funeral to follow at 4:00pm. Burial will be private in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family would like to extended sincere thanks and appreciation for the wonderful care and concern given by the staff of the VA Hospital, Keepsake Village and Menorah Park during his very "long goodbye". May he rest in peace.
