Charline S. (Sharp) Smith, 84, of North Syracuse passed away peacefully on Wednesday at her son's home. Born in Cortland, NY, Charline lived in Syracuse for most of her life. She was an EMT with the LPFD Ambulance Squad. A bookkeeper at Midlakes Country Club, Charline also held Office Manager Positions with Nichols IGA and Blast Cleaning Products. She retired as a Registered Nurse and worked for many years in the Oncology Unit at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital. Charline enjoyed bowling, golfing, reading and spending time with her many friends. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, "Dick", her parents, Ralph and Clestner Sharp, sister, Johanne (Bill) Moynihan and two brothers, William and Wayne Sharp.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children; Richard Sears of Clackamas, Oregon, David (Jeanette) Sears of Parish, NY, Stephen (Elaine) Sears of Cortland, NY and Patricia (Ennio) Corsi of Albany, NY, 8 grandchildren; Robert Kenific, Jessica and Scott Sears, Stephanie (Dan) Armentano, Taylor Sears, Collin (Ellen) Sears, Meredith and Mitchell Corsi, three great-grandchildren, Zoie Ellis, Fiona and Bianca Armentano, several nieces, nephews, cousins and adored sisters and brothers in-law; Ronnie and Gail Smith, Rosie Smith, Carolyn and Terry Curtis, Donna Storer and Karen Putterick.

A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc., 300 Second St. Liverpool, NY 13088.  Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery in Chittenango, NY.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, Alzheimer's Association, CNY Chapter or the CNY SPCA.
