Cheryl A. Brooks, 73, of Baldwinsville, passed away Monday, May 15th, 2023 at home
surrounded by her loved ones. Born on July 16, 1949 she grew up in East Syracuse, NY then moved to Baldwinsville, NY with her husband of 53 years to raise their family.

Cheryl loved traveling and spending time with her friends near and far. She was an avid Syracuse University sports fan, loved watching her grandchildren play soccer, lacrosse and hockey, and was a second mom to many.  Cheryl left a mark on everyone she met and she will be greatly missed by all.

Cheryl is predeceased by her parents, Frederick Chase Sr. and Victoria Myers Chase, mother-in-law, Francis Brooks, brothers; Frederick (Barb) Chase Jr. and Gary (Eileen) Chase, brother-in-law, Ronald Brooks and grandson, Nick Sperry.

Cheryl is survived by her loving husband, Donald Brooks Sr. son, Donald (Jody) Brooks Jr. daughter, Christie (Scott) Sperry, her beloved grandchildren; Leslie and Chase Brooks, sister and best friend, Sue (Dan) Ewald, brother-in-law, Richard (Melinda) Brooks, sister-in-law, Cindy Ficarro Brooks and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Calling hours will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Monday, May 22, 2023 at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31 Baldwinsville, New York 13027. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm.
