Christopher Michael Netti, son of Patrick and Pamela Netti, was born on August 26th, 1985, in Syracuse, NY and passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023.

Chris lived a passionate life. He was committed to his family. He loved nature, his dog Rico, and, above all, Adelina, his daughter. Whether rollerblading, hiking, or just staying up late watching old movies together, he cherished every moment spent with her and dedicated himself to opening her eyes to life's joys.

Authenticity and depth of feeling were the hallmarks of Chris's personality. He loved holiday traditions and family gatherings, Christmas Eves, Thanksgiving dinners, and summer afternoons playing bocce ball on the beach at Sandy Pond. Chris was happiest when surrounded by the love of his family and friends.  His interests were broad and nuanced. He traveled to Grateful Dead concerts, collected crystals and sneakers, was proud of his Italian heritage, and found solace in special places like his home in Maine, Whiskey Hollow, Onondaga Lake State Park and Watkins Glenn where he would often walk with Adelina. Chris was adored by many and will be deeply missed.

Chris is survived by his daughter, Adelina Netti, parents, Patrick and Pamela Netti, brother, John Netti and wife Lori, their children, Eleanor and Owen; life partner, Rochelle Rude, mother of Adelina, Catherine Robinson and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life for Chris will be held on on Sunday, April 16, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.  A prayer service will follow at 4:00 pm.
