Our sweet Connie passed away on August 7, 2023. She was born in Syracuse to the late Joseph J. and the late Irene (Brohl) Turo on November 29, 1941. Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Webb; sisters, Alma King and Patricia Freund; and her brother, Robert Turo.

Connie grew up on the North side of Syracuse, graduating from Assumption School, where she excelled in all studies. Connie and her husband, Charles raised their children in Camillus and Baldwinsville, New York. They owned and operated Cold Springs Harbor for 30 years.

Connie enjoyed camping, crossword puzzles, traveling, and most especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed music and a good novel.

Connie is survived by her brother, David "Uncle Rock" Turo and his wife, Kathie; children, Charles, Victoria (Mike) Gabris, Maureen Wicker, Sandy (Jim) Leana, and Courtney (Joe) Romeo; grandchildren, Corey, Joe (Kristina), Aaron (Alaura), Nick, Josh, Caroline, Maria, and Nathan; great grandchildren, Ashton, Daniella, Michael, Aaron, Arya, and Hayden.

Connie always said "Be not afraid".

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.  A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
