Cynthia "Cindy" E. (Knoop) Halter Hodgson, 87, of Liverpool, NY, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2024 at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Chittenango. She grew up in Buffalo, NY where she graduated high school. In 1971, Cindy came to Liverpool where she had since resided. She retired as an Administrative Clerk from New York Telephone. Cindy enjoyed spending the winter months in Bonita Springs, FL and summers at Sylvan Beach and Brennan's Beach in Pulaski. She was an avid bowler, golfer and loved to play Bingo. Cindy was a life member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, IBEW Local 2213 and a parishioner of Pope John XXIII Catholic Church. She is predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Florence (Godziak) Knoop, her two beloved husbands, Alan G. Halter in 1999 and Robert A. Hodgson in 2021, her daughter, Jacalyn A. Halter in 2022 and son-in-law, Joe Decoursey.

Surviving are her sons; John F. Halter, Jeffrey A. Halter, Joseph G. (Sabine) Halter, Robert Hodgson, Michael Hodgson, Tim (Denise) Hodgson, daughters; Vicki Decoursey and Lori (Steve) Frantz, 10 grandchildren; Tricia (Ricky) Lemmons, Kristen Freeman, Lauren (Matt) Hibbard, Daniel Halter, Shawn (Karyn) Hodgson, Kevin Halter, Emily Frantz, Timothy (TJ) Hodgson, Scott Hodgson and Jordyn (Nick) Lee, 10 great-grandchildren; Kaleb, Madison, Danika, Vienna, Gabriel, Riley, Baker, Lennox, Henry and Logan, her sister, Ester Gainey many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc. 300 Second St. Liverpool, NY 13088. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm.
