September 27, 1962 – February 13, 2025
Daniel C. Kurtz, 62, of Brewerton, NY passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, surrounded by his family. He was born in Syracuse, NY, son to the late Charles and Patricia Kurtz. Dan grew up in Liverpool, graduating from Liverpool High School, Class of 1980. He was a member of the Varsity Swim Team and also obtained his Black Belt in Karate. In 1985 he was united in marriage to the former Pamela Conway, a blessed union of 40 years together. Dan enjoyed a career of over 40 years in the Marine Business. He was a true outdoorsman and loved to be on the water, whether boating, fishing or jet skiing. Dan liked hunting, riding snowmobiles, motorcycles and going bowling. Most of all he cherished time spent with family and friends, especially hosting marina parties and playing with his dogs.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Pamela Kurtz of Brewerton, NY, two daughters, Anna (Tony) Nicolini and Noelle (Corey) Hickok both of Liverpool, NY, 4 grandchildren, Kennedy and Kensley Kurtz, Parker Nicolini and Penelope Hickok, his sister, Colleen Duffy, nephew, Dylan Duffy and niece, Dana Duffy.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt. 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027 with funeral services to follow at 6:00 pm.
