David "Frosty" R. Alvord, 76, of 6148 Douglas Court, Farmington, NY passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 surrounded by close family.

A native of Liverpool, David lived in Syracuse for many years, just recently relocating to Farmington, NY.  He was a United States Navy veteran, former member of the Liverpool Fire Department, trained mortician, stock broker, and had retired as a painting contractor.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kathleen; daughter, Tara (Willo) Glynn of Farmington, NY; son, Troy of Buckeye AZ; grandchildren, Chloe, Autumn, Emily and Parker; sister, Sharon Ellis of Central Square, NY; brother-in-law, Robert (Ann) Kenyon of Alameda, CA, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Friday, September 24, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, with a service at 12:00 pm at Maurer Funeral Home, 300 Second Street, Liverpool, NY 13088. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Liverpool Village Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Dementia Society of America.
