David R.
Draper
January 8, 1954 – August 2, 2021
David R. Draper, 67, of Liverpool passed away at home on Monday surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Auburn, NY, the son of the late Major Robert J. and Bobbie (Genoa) Draper. Dave was raised and lived in Liverpool. He graduated from Liverpool High School, Class of 72, and continued his studies at Syracuse University. He enjoyed a life-long career in Retail Management, most recently at the Home Depot. David will be remembered, first and foremost, for his kindheartedness and selfless nature. He cared more for you than you could for yourself. He was eternally willing to lend a hand to help anyone in need.
His intelligence radiated in his quick wit and sense of humor. Dave will be remembered forever by those who loved him simply by the smile that never left his face. He cherished spending time with his two granddaughters, who truly meant the world to him. His love and connection to his wife was unrivaled, it truly was magical to see!
Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife of 50 years, Peachie E. (Burns) Draper of Liverpool, NY, his son, Jeremy R. Draper of Long Island, daughter, Kara L. Brooker of Liverpool, NY, two adored granddaughters, Jillian and Sydney, brother, Gregg (Bellann) Draper of Mattydale, NY, sister, Pamela Budnikas (John Waldbillig) of Marcellus, NY, several nieces, nephews and a cousin.
