David T. "Hemo" Himiak, 76, of Liverpool, NY passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Francis House. Born in Newark, NJ, he attended St. Patrick's School in Elizabeth, NJ, and was a graduate of Union Springs High School, and Auburn Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. David had a successful career as an anesthesia sales representative and homecare nurse.

David found joy in good music, classic comedies, cheering on the Syracuse Orange, and a round of golf with friends. Above all, he loved a good meal and time spent with his family, creating memories that will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. David was predeceased by his parents, Sophie and Stanley Himiak of Elizabeth, NJ.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia; daughters, Marcy Himiak, Kathryn (Timothy) Daughton, and Lauren (Chelsea) Himiak; and grandchildren, Madison and Ethan Wener, and Liam and Bronwyn Daughton.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 11:00 am in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 3494 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY. The Rite of Committal and burial will be private.

David's family is grateful for the care he received from Dr. Mary Daye and Francis House. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave., Syracuse, NY 13208.
