Perrin
July 8, 1936 – August 20, 2020
David N. Perrin, 84, of Baldwinsville, passed away on Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. Born and raised in Hamburg, NY, he graduated from Hamburg High School. David continued his education at Syracuse University, where he was a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. Upon graduation, he received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a commission as Second Lieutenant in the US Army Field Artillery branch. David retired from the Army Reserve after 26 years of service.
David spent his career, beginning in 1962, working for a number of departments and agencies as an administrative officer for New York State. He retired in 1995, after 33 years with the State.
David was an active member of the wider Central New York Community. He was troop leader of Boy Scout Troop #139 in Liverpool, and a longtime member of Liverpool Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. 2348, Onondaga Audubon Society and Recovery International. He was a communicant of Pope John XXII Catholic Church in Liverpool.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years, Gail (Woods) Perrin of Baldwinsville, two sons, Michael (Susan Bartle) Perrin of Albany, NY, Patrick (Deidre) Perrin of Hampton, NH, his daughter, Laura (Daniel Koontz) Perrin of Morristown, NJ; five grandchildren, Chelsea (Joseph) Couvreur, Bridget Perrin, Colleen (Kevin) Rezabek, Timothy Perrin, Abigail Perrin; three sisters, Donna (George) Reichelderfer, Lois (Richard) Draper, Leslie (Timothy) Stender, and a brother, Daniel (Melinda) Perrin, and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a future date. The Rite of Committal and burial will be private in Hillcrest Cemetery in Hamburg, NY.
