Obituary

Deborah "Debbie" A. (Sprague) Leppard, 73, a resident of Liverpool for 40 years, passed away on Tuesday at her home. Deborah was born in Syracuse on November 5, 1951 to the late Robert C. and Margaret E. (Crow) Sprague. She was a graduate of Liverpool High School. Deborah was united in marriage to Donald W. Leppard, a blessed union of 44 years until his passing in January of this year. She worked in manufacturing and quality control at General Electric and Bristol Myers Squib, where she retired after over 30 years of employment. Deborah put her family first. She loved everyone she came across and was willing to make sacrifices to insure their happiness. She was true, kind and loved by everyone she met. Debbie enjoyed getting together with "the girls" from work, going on vacations with her grandchildren and watching all of the family's sports and competitions. There was nothing that could get in her way of cheering on family and friends. Even on her last days, Debbie was eager to watch the live feed of a dance competition.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Timothy K. Sprague and brothers-in-law, Terry L. Sharpe and Brian Mabie.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children; Melissa Leppard and Jason Leppard of N. Syracuse, NY, Michele Leppard and Donny Leppard both of Liverpool, NY two brothers, Robert (Roberta) Sprague and Thomas (Joni) Sprague both of Syracuse, NY, two sisters, Cheryl Sharpe of Syracuse, NY and Susan Mabie of Liverpool, NY, sister-in-law, Lori (John) Kozlowski of N. Syracuse, 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
