Diane E. (Davis) DuMond, 84, of Liverpool, NY passed away peacefully on Friday at the Cottages at Garden Grove. She was born in Amsterdam, NY, the daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Papaw) Davis. Diane was raised in Johnstown, NY, graduating from Johnstown High School. She completed her education obtaining her Bachelor's degree from SUNY Potsdam. In 1963, she was united in marriage to Robert H. DuMond. Diane retired from Liverpool Central School District as a Teacher Assistant at Elmcrest Elementary after 31 years.

Diane was very active in her community, whether welcoming new neighbors, working with children, teaching religion at Christ the King Church in Bayberry or just helping others. She loved celebrating the holidays and listening to music. Dianes's true focus was her family, spending time together, especially outdoor occasions. She is predeceased by her sister, Louise M. Davis in 2017.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband of 61 years, Robert H. DuMond of Liverpool, NY, two sons, Brian (Paula) DuMond of Camillus, NY and Scott (Valerie) DuMond of Almond, NY, her daughter, Sherry (James) Purcell of Vernon, CT, 6 grandchildren; Nicole (Davi) Barbosa, Patrick Purcell, Dana Purcell, Ryan Purcell, David DuMond and Daniel DuMond, two great-grandchildren, Maya Barbosa and Luca Barbosa, her cousin, Jean Keiner and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 10:00 am in King of Kings Church Lutheran Church, 8278 Oswego Road, Liverpool, NY 13090. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville, NY.
