On Wednesday, April 26, 2023, The Heavens gained a new bright shining star. Diane R. "Dee Dee" Jarvis, 78, passed away peacefully with her family nearby, after a long brave battle with dementia. Born in Syracuse, NY, Dee Dee graduated from Liverpool High School, Class of 1963. Throughout her life, Diane's main focus was her family and enjoyed being a homemaker while raising her children. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Diane had a great sense of adventure, always willing to try anything new or fun. She liked exploring new restaurants, ceramics, photography, gardening and hiking. Diane was a fighter, never backing down from a cause or battle to try to make things easier for anyone. She is deeply loved and will never be far from us but greatly missed. Diane is predeceased by her former husband of 39 years, Harry A, Jarvis.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her son, Harry A. Jarvis, III of Albany, NY, her daughter, Tammy Wild of Seattle, WA, grandson, Anthony D. Jarvis of Syracuse, NY and great-grandson, Liam D. Jarvis.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc., 300 Second Street, Liverpool, NY 13088 with funeral services to follow at 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Diane's memory to Elsie Stuhr Senior Center.  Donations should be addressed to Elsie Stuhr Center Funds Group, 5550 SW Hall Blvd., Beaverton, OR 97005.
