Diane H. Persico, 75, of Liverpool, NY passed away on Tuesday at Elderwood from complications due to Alzheimers. She was born in Dorseyville, PA, daughter of the late Wilson E. and Vinon A. (Ferary) Hannah. Diane grew up in Liverpool, graduating from Liverpool High School in 1966. She was a File Clerk at the VA Hospital for 35 years before retiring.

Diane enjoyed traveling and going to the theater. She was the most honest and caring soul anyone could have the pleasure to meet. If she loved you, she would say so, and you would know in your heart it was true. When Diane did not like something, she would find a charming way to express her feelings without anger or malice. Diane was a wonderful friend and companion, who always loved to listen to other people's stories. In addition to her parents, Diane is predeceased by her husband of 16 years, Ronald F. Persico.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her two brothers; Joseph (Beverly) Hannah of Liverpool, NY and Wilson Hannah (Bob) of Pottstown, PA; 3 nieces; Laurel, Amie and Barbra, nephew, Lucas and great niece, Xena.

A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from 9:00 am at to 10:00 am in St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 904 Vine St. Liverpool with funeral services to follow at 10:00 am. Burial will take place in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, next to her husband.
