Dimitra "Jean" (Papadopulos) Rheaume, age 93, died on February 9, 2021.  She was born in Komotini, Greece.  In 1956, Jean married Laurence C. Rheaume in St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church, and resided in Liverpool.  Dimitra enjoyed Latin music, playing piano, dancing with her husband, and making people laugh.  She also enjoyed visiting and having lunch with friends at St. Joseph the Worker Seniors Club.

Dimitra was predeceased by her husband, Laurence C. Rheaume, after 51 years of marriage.  She was also predeceased by her daughter, Linda J. Rheaume-Wellenc, and her son-in-law, Gregory J. Wellenc.

She is survived by her beloved grandchildren; Gregory J. Wellenc, Jr., Timothy A. Wellenc and Alexandra N. Wellenc.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Chapel, 4069 Howlett Hill Road, Syracuse, NY 13215.  Dimitra will be laid to rest with her husband in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
