Donald L. Pierce, Sr., 84, of Clay, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Upstate University Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Donald was born in Lysander and has been a long-time resident of the town of Clay.  In his earlier days he was a dairy farmer, then later went on to work as a master carpenter. He was a member of the Syracuse Carpenter's Union Local 12.  Donald was a "Jack of all Trades".  He loved building things, snowmobiling, NASCAR, being a DJ, singing and karaoke. Most of all Donald enjoyed spending time with his loving family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joanne E. Pierce, his sons; Donald L. (Kelly) Pierce, Jr., John A. Pierce and Verion B. (Maria) Pierce, daughter, Cheri J. (Eric) Stearns, sister, Thelma Pierce, 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
