Obituary

Donna (Leroux) Carrow, 85, of Liverpool, New York, passed away peacefully on Friday, surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in Tupper Lake, New York, Donna was the beloved daughter of the late Rolland and Lillian (Woods) Leroux. After marrying Arthur J. Carrow, the couple made their home in Liverpool, where they built a beautiful life together. Donna and Arthur shared 60 wonderful years before Art’s passing in 2021.

Donna dedicated more than 40 years of her career to Wegmans Food Markets, where she was widely respected for her exceptional work ethic, leadership, and natural ability to mentor others. She held several managerial positions throughout her career, most notably serving as a regional trainer. In that role, she positively influenced and helped shape the lives of countless young people at the start of their careers.

A woman of deep faith, Donna was a long-time communicant of Christ the King Church in Liverpool. Her unwavering devotion to the Lord guided her throughout her life.

Donna found great joy in spending time with her family and traveling. She loved life and was always ready for her next adventure. She especially loved camping, canoeing, and hiking in the Adirondacks; visiting the ocean with her siblings; exploring lighthouses; competing in all things, especially on the Wegmans softball field; visits to Canada, Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon; and taking pictures of it all!

In addition to her parents, Rolland and Lillian (Woods) Leroux, she is predeceased by her husband Arthur Carrow; her brother Richard Leroux; and her sisters Velma (Leroux) Lines, Susan (Leroux) Sabin and Shirley (Leroux) Guay.

She is survived by her four children: Anne (John) Murphy of Baldwinsville and their daughters, Mackenzie and Madison; David (Victoria) Carrow of St. Augustine, Florida; Michael Carrow of Baldwinsville and his children Jeffrey and Elise; and Karen (Thomas) Adams of Cicero and their children, Thomas J. and Nicole. She was also the proud great-grandmother of five, all of whom brought her tremendous joy. In addition, she leaves behind her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. Her favorite companion, Figgy, her spunky Corgi, will miss her dearly.

Donna’s kindness, steadfast faith, generosity, and love for her family will be remembered always. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched through her work, church, friendships, and above all, her family. She will be dearly missed.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 10:00 am in Christ the King Church, 21 Cherry Tree Circle, Liverpool, NY. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
