Obituary

Donna J. (Dennis) Trinca, 56, of Phoenix, NY passed away at home on Wednesday, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Towson, MD, a daughter of the late Charles and Jacqueline (Strippy) Dennis. Donna grew up in Lakeland, MD and graduated from Western High School. While living in Baltimore, she met her husband Daniel F. Trinca. In 1999 they were united in marriage, sharing a blessed union of 24 years. Donna was employed as a Production Planner for over 15 years at Huhtamaki Inc. in Fulton, NY. Up until her illness, she spent seven years as the Coordinator of Services at the Center for Disability Resources at Syracuse University. Donna was an amazing cook, creating many delicious dishes for family and friends to enjoy. She loved to go out dancing and listening to live music, spending time with family and friends.

Donna lit up the room with her beautiful smile and sparkling blue eyes. Those who were lucky enough to come in contact with her, would know immediately that she was a special soul. Those who were fortunate enough to be her friend, knew her as a compassionate listener and truth teller. And those who were blessed to love and be loved by Donna, felt it to their core. They knew of her deep commitment to her family, and that she was that rare, special person who left you feeling more alive.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband, Daniel F. Trinca, her daughter, Sophia R. Trinca, her son, Grayson D. Trinca all of Phoenix, NY, her sister, Pamela (Tully) Boyer of Arbutus, MD, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins

At Donna's request, family services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in her memory to Friends Forever Animal Rescue, 174 Gristwood Road, Pennellville, NY 13132.
