Doris Duke, 96, of Syracuse, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at St. Camillus Nursing Home.

She was born in Cato, NY to Willis and Eva (Leslie) Dawley. She retired in 1991 after twenty years with Onondaga County Department of Social Services.

Doris was blessed with four generations - six children; twelve siblings; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be Friday, January 19, 2024 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners, NY.
