Edward Raymond Trudeau, 88, of Camillus, NY passed away Monday, January 12, 2026 at Menorah Park surrounded by his family. He was born in Syracuse, NY to the late William and Amrey (Kramp) Trudeau.  He was a 1954 graduate of Central High School and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He flew with the 174th in Syracuse, NY for 21 years, retiring in 1977 after rising to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. In his civilian life, he held the top management position as Chief at John F. Kennedy International Airport for the FAA.  He is predeceased by his parents and his sister, Dorothy Alice Britt.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Janice "Midge" (Goettel) Trudeau of 68 years; three daughters, Sharon (Michael) Schoonmaker, Suzanne Trudeau and Stephanie (Steven) Keiber; eight grandchildren, Tessa, Evan, Clinton, Vaughn, Amrey, Logan, Michelle and Elan; four great-grandchildren, Dominic, Natatlie, Miles and Stella; several nieces and nephews, Bruce Hodge, Bonnie Abadie, Greg Hodge, and Lori Britt; brother-in-law, Bill Goettel, and sister-in-law, Suzanne Goettel-Smith.

Calling hours will be Friday, January 16, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home, 300 Second Street, Liverpool, NY 13088.  A Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, January, 17, 2026 at 9:30 am in St. Lucy Catholic Church, 432 Gifford St., Syracuse, NY 13204.  The Rite of Committal and Burial with military honors will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
