Edward J.
Wroblewski
July 7, 1977 – December 30, 2023
Ed Wroblewski was called home on Saturday, December 30, 2023. He left this world holding his sister, Becky's hand. Ed was an enthusiastic outdoorsman. His happiest times were at deer camp, fish camp, playing with his dogs, tending his gardens, and being with friends and family. Ed excelled in the culinary arts and created dishes that people say was some of the best food they had ever eaten. Ed's favorite moments as a chef were when he was cooking with Becky at her restaurant LM Social. Ed was a master craftsman who could turn the simplest of materials into works of art. Also, Ed had the heart of a teacher. He shined when he was sharing "how to do it" with others young or old, whether it was baiting a hook, shooting a target, laying a complicated tile pattern, or making a French mother sauce. We will all remember Ed's giant smile, sense of humor, love of adventures, and absolute joy in being part of any get-together. Ed had the most loving of hearts. Ed joins, in the Lord's heavenly embrace, his father Gary, mother Christine, and beloved best friend, Ruger.
Ed leaves behind his sister, Rebecca "Becky" Ewald and her husband, Dan Ewald, his sister Judy Rabil, and his nieces and nephews, Jacob, Brittany, Daniel, and Maddie. Ed also leaves behind Lisa Toscano and his Ewald and Toscano families.
A calling hour will be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 259 E. Onondaga St, Syracuse, NY 13202, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 am. A remembrance celebration will be scheduled privately.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Ed's memory to the charity closest to his and Ruger's hearts, the National Brittany Rescue & Adoption Network (NBRAN.ORG)
