Elaine B. (Duncan) Kursar, 85, of Horseheads, NY passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Crouse Hospital. Elaine was born in Nanticoke, PA where she was raised and educated. A true caretaker her whole life, Elaine will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved nature, being outside taking walks and enjoying bird watching. Elaine liked to play cards, going on trips to the casino and had a song for everything she did. "Pack up the babies and grab the old ladies" Neil Diamond, he was her favorite. She has resided in Horseheads, NY for the past 20 years. Elaine will forever be in our hearts and memories. She is predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Lottie (Figlerski) Duncan, her sister, Henrietta Wentz, and two brothers, Clarence Duncan and Joseph "Perky" Duncan.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband of 65 years, James V. Kursar of Liverpool, her son, James (Kathy) Kursar of Liverpool, NY, four daughters; Cheryl (Ralph) Robison of Canton, MI, Wendy (Al) Saginario of Horseheads, NY, Elaine (Jeff) Prinz of Cicero, NY, Mary (Craig) Nowlan, 10 grandchildren; Jon Robison, Becky (Matt) Michalski, Ben (Aislinne) Robison, Matthew and Stephen Saginario, Amanda and Spenser Prinz, Anders Kursar, Kristian (Nate) Suarez and Charles Bupp, three great-grandchildren; Ainsley and Emory Robison and Jayden Suarez, and two nieces; Alyson (Joe) Kowalski and Kathy (Paul) Shedlock.

There will be no services held at this time.
